Welcome to Catherine Matilda Candles!

Hi, I'm Cathy – the founder, maker, and heart behind Catherine Matilda Candles. What started as a simple love for candles and jewellery has grown into a passion project I'm proud to call my own. Every product is lovingly handmade in my home studio in Sydney, Australia, with a little help from my beautiful mum – one of the strong women behind Catherine Matilda.

My journey began a few years ago with a vision: to create something that brings comfort, relaxation, and a little magic the moment you open the box. After countless hours of trial and error, learning and growing, Catherine Matilda was born – a brand built on creativity, care, and joy.

At Catherine Matilda, I focus on using only high-quality, ethically sourced materials – from luxurious, creamy wax and unique candle vessels to skin-friendly jewellery designed to surprise and delight. Every step of the process, from hand-pouring to packaging, labelling, and photography, is done with love and intention. Each piece is one of a kind – just like the person receiving it.
